The consignee is frequently the same person as the final consignee. The ultimate consignee for a foreign importer must be a U.S. company.
Amazon can serve as the final consignee if you ship to Amazon U.S. as a foreign importer (importing without a U.S. corporation or presence). Use your allocated Amazon fulfillment facility as your company address.
The intermediate consignee, who serves as the final consignee’s intermediary agent and recipient, is distinct from the ultimate consignee.
